2025 Grant Cycle Tracker

The Wisconsin Driver’s Education Grant Program is now included in the 2025 state budget with $6 million in funding. Rather than a single release, the program will now open on a quarterly basis — offering four opportunities per year for eligible students to apply.

✔ Must be 15–19 years old and qualify for free or reduced lunch
✔ Do not enroll at any school before applying (doing so makes you ineligible)
✔ Approvals typically take hours to 1 business day after submission
✔ Once approved, apply your award on the CrashCourse website
