CDI I — Certified Driving Instructor I

Urgently Hiring

Hourly: $20 – $21 /hr

+$1/hr Spanish bilingual premium

  • We provide the vehicles — well-marked, highly visible, with dual controls
  • Teach on the road using our lesson plans and route standards
  • Deliver an excellent student experience every ride
  • Complete a Real-Time Lesson Report™ after each lesson
  • Paid 40-hour instructor training • We cover state fees and pull driving records
What you’ll do
  • Coach safe, calm, defensive driving with clear, encouraging feedback.
  • Follow pickup-location standards; keep vehicles lesson-ready.
  • Document progress in the Real-Time Lesson Report™ before the next pickup.
Path & reporting
  • Reports to Manager of Instruction (MOI).
  • Total instructor pay band: $20–$26/hr — clear room for growth via internal promotion.
Schedule, benefits & growth
  • Employment: Part-time or Full-time. Hourly $20–$21 (plus +$1/hr Spanish bilingual premium if applicable).
  • Schedule: On-site, on-road lesson shifts aligned to student demand (primarily Mon–Fri; occasional weekends optional).
