Wisconsin Driver’s Ed Requirements

Wisconsin state law requires teens under 18 to complete a certified driver’s education program before earning their license. At CrashCourse, we meet all the requirements and make the process simple and flexible.

State Requirements for Teens:
✓ Be at least 15 years old to start classroom
✓ Complete 30 hours of classroom instruction
✓ Complete 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training (8 if enrolled in Advantage)
✓ Complete 6 hours of in-car observation
✓ Hold your permit for at least 6 months
✓ Pass the DMV road test at age 16 or older
